What it offers
Older Americans Act Title VI caregiver services support American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian families caring for older relatives with chronic illness or disability, and grandparents caring for grandchildren. ACL says caregiver support services can include information and outreach, access assistance, individual counseling, support groups and training, respite care, and supplemental services. Services are delivered through eligible Tribal organizations and Native Hawaiian grantees; grantees set local service areas, application paths, and operating details within the Title VI framework.
