What it offers

California caregivers can connect with VA caregiver support through VA health care systems across the state. Greater Los Angeles and San Diego caregiver support pages say caregiver support coordinators help caregivers access VA caregiver assistance, match with services and benefits, and connect with local resources and programs. Northern California and San Francisco health services describe caregiver support for caregivers of Veterans, including training, counseling, respite, progressive needs planning, local resources, and additional PCAFC-related supports when eligible. National VA caregiver support pages describe PGCSS, PCAFC, the Caregiver Support Line, and local CSP team routing.
