Program allowing parents to be paid Direct Care Workers providing Attendant Care or Habilitation services for their minor children with disabilities
What you get
Cash Stipend, Services, as recorded:
- up to 40 hours per week per child (combined parents cannot exceed 40 hours/week per child, or 80 hours/week for two children); no more than 16 hours of paid care per 24-hour period

How to apply

Contact a Qualified Vendor, who can help a parent become a Direct Care Worker (DCW) if their child needs Attendant Care or Habilitation-Hourly services
Documents to bring
- Proof of training in Article 9
- Proof of training in CPR/First Aid
- Proof of completing DCW Training
- Proof of training in the delivery of habilitation services
- Proof of a request for a fingerprint clearance card (not needed if providing only Attendant Care and living in the same home as the member)
- Background check approval from the DCS Central Registry and the APS Registry
